Default Weather Station

Any opinions on the Kestrel (orange) 4000 weather station. It looks to have all the features you need for 239.00. I know there are other(more expensive options) out there. Thanks.

PS Jeff (Mr. Lee) I'm going testing on Jan 26 (weather permitting). Any progress on yours?

Ed -

Kestrel is one of our sponsors and we love it. It is fantastic. We also have the computer program that allows us to download the information to the computer. The only thing that it does not do is ET prediction, but you will have more actual weather info than you will know what to do with. It is well worth the money... If you will let them know that you spoke to Waibel Competition and they were recommended highly.

We use the Kestrel devices in our company and they are very accurate. Check out the comments from other users at this link:

I used one last year. It worked very well and was very convenient to use. Once you set up the display you can get the information you want very quickly. It does not predict performance, but it is very useful if you can dial your car off of the weather conditions.
