Talking Slicks

Anybody going to try any of the new 9x30x15 Radial Slicks that are more than 9 inches wide?

What am I missing here? Every Hoosier 9x30x15 that I have bought measures a little less than 10 inches wide ….

I have seen on many stock class cars, 9" slicks with wear on the sidewall making it a 10.5" tread contact area.

The tread width increase is about .562”. We ran 1909 on 12” wheels and the contact patch never grew past 9.75”
