Car sputters on the 2 step

I have a brake pressure switch and a chipped MSD7al2. The problem is intermittent. What should I be looking at first? Suggestions?

Check the BP switch. I have a small LED in the circuit so I can see that the circuit is working. If the switch isn't making good contact inside it could effect the 2 step. Of course like most electrical problems always check every ground.

I got 13 volts to the MSD box when I press the brake and activate the switch, so it appears it may be a MSD issue.
