The NHRA really needs Alan because these other smucks working for the NHRA don't know the anything about racing. The local announcers at BIR know more about racing thank God!

We all want Alan back, but we also have to give new guys a chance. He learned about all of us over years not a year, need to give them time to learn all the divisions. Not an easy task by any means. Just my opinion, John

Think it?s poor that they use a particular announcer that has close ties with one of the Pro teams?.and pitching the sports betting that NHRA directly benefits from is classless. Just my two cents

It's Justin Doerfler who we're hearing, he's defintitely a voice doppelganger to our beloved Reinhart and is doing a great job. Alan will be at Beech Bend this coming Thursday.

Maybe so. But I'll bet that a lot of what is said, or not, at nationals by announcers is scripted by the NHRA people, with a lot of improvisation or off script banter being frowned upon.
