"The first four of the all-new 2012 COPO Camaros, #s 3, 5, 7 & 9, left the COPO Assembly Facility, boarded a truck and are en route to their new owners! Check out the historic moment as #7 rolls up to the transport truck! Next stop-- ownin' dragstrips-- everywhere!"
If this don't get your heart pumping....

In my forty years of General Motors work experience and being involved with a lot of "prototype" builds, the reason "could be" availability of certain parts. A lot of times the parts are just not available to do the vehicles in the original numerical sequence, so they build the vehicles that the parts are available. This is just a guess based on the previous builds that I have been involved.
I think Jim Boburka looks like a "kid with a new toy". Good Luck to all the COPO owners. Gary Merrick 3522 |
