Default Helmet replacement lifespan

I was shopping at JP cycles during Bike Week and came across two new Bell helmets that had Snell 2010 on them. Are these eligible for NHRA and if so when do they expire. My IHRA book says helmets have no expiration dates and I lost mt NHRA book.
For those who don't know JP Cycles is the largest motorcycle parts dealer in the world....not some fly by night operation.

Hi Jim! A Snell M 2010 helmet expires on 1/1/2022. Be careful buying helmets in Motorcycle shops! I learned the hard way that the Snell TAG inside the helmet costs extra and they sometimes aren't added. Make sure that you actually SEE the tag before you buy.

Just throwing this out there : SA rated helmets have a higher impact rating as well as being fire resistant. I ALWAYS recommend an SA rated helmet over an M rated helmet.

Snell 2015 will probably come out late this year, and that will make the 2010 helmets go onto clearance sale. Absolutely get SA rated, and full face is good dental insurance.
