$50 or 2 cases of beer to the best ramp design for my coach!
Issue: My 13 year old beagles, don't do well with the steps in and out of the motorhome.
Motorhome is a 2006 Winnebego Vectra. I'd love to have someone, be able to design a lightweight portable ramp for use at the track. Nothing to my knowledge is sold commercially for MH's. Racers with extra time on their hands(likely most reading this) give it some thought please. If you like to submit a design, you could send me an email: ericmerryfield@yahoo.com or a text 978-886-782six Payment to best design would be winners choice: $50 check by mail, or two cases of the beer of your choice brought to the track, once the world settles down. Thanks Eric

Eric we have one we bought for our last lab when she was 14 to get into the coach . It folds in half ,opens to 6 foot and I think is 18" wide .
Fairly light weight , Injection molded plastic I think. I'll check on the manufacturer when I get home . I know you go to great lengths to make Bruno and Belle's lives comfortable . '

2 things first google motorhome dog ramps--- lots of different products $50-200-- second make sure you get a long enough ramp at least 6 feet probably 8 feet is better that folds up light is weight probably aluminum with a handle easier to move around ---reason for the length is so that the ramp is not real steep--- older dogs MAY have a difficult time with a steep incline---FED 387
PS Donate the $50 to your favorite local charity |

How about half of this?
https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...yABEgKuq_D_BwE You could donate the other half to someone else who may have the same issue. |

Half the width of the indoor steps, a fold down aluminum ramp, with the matching width ramp on the outside, fixed to the steps, both covered in denim, held on with velcro strips. Should still provide good traction even when wet.

We talked about stairs or a ramp for our dogs and found foam blocks, with fabric covering. I expect they would slide into the basement of a MH nice.

I tent camp so my knowledge of motor home entry is too limited to design one. I found this on-line and anyone with carpentry skills could build it. Looks like 1X4, 1X2, 1/2 inch plywood and carpet. Clever design and adjustable.
