4.039 for diesel here at the pilot at exit 58 off 95 in va....

Heard diesel is 4.09 a gallon in north Jersey...that's where I'll be filling up. Long Island is 4.59 to 4.69 per gallon.

Your prices for diesel sound sort of OK.
Out here in SOCAL it runs $4.27 to $4.69 depending on how close to a freeway offramp the station is.
