I've searched ClassRacer and the whole internet, and found almost no information on how to tune with emulsion bleeds. Are there any rules of thumb like the higher bleeds have more effect on high RPM (or vice versa), or anything like that? So far all I know is that you should start out with the same total bleed area as the metering block you're replacing.

OK, I think I'm beginning to wrap my mind around this.
When Troy Patterson talks about liking "1:1 cam plate throttle actuation," is he referring to Holley p/n 20-3? ![]()

Thanks for the link - it's great.
I'm not at all sold on Mr. Patterson's stuff, but I thought it was interesting that he liked the 1:1 throttle deal, since I believe it's only found on 660 center squirters.
