I am new and was curious on how winning your class in IHRA works. I believe that if no one is in your class at an NHRA national, then you still have to run .5 under to win class. Is this correct and is the same true for IHRA? Also, what are the chances of getting tore down at a IHRA or NHRA national event?

use ta be if you were only one in class you got it. And nobody gets torn down unless theres a protest or you try to set a record. Course all of these things aren't worth anything anymore in IHRA so who cares...
