I have a old afb carter carb. P/n 3633-s that i need to know what stock jets and rods came in it. Carb. Is off a old 64 buick with a 401 motor, this is a restoration job.

based on info in the OLD MANUAL that I have,
3633S = auto trans 401" calls for Prim. Jet @ .092" (pn.-120-256) Sec. Jet @ .082" (pn.-120-158) step-up rod = pn.- 16-219 1 step lean = pn.- 16-252U accell pump shooters @ .028" Hope this helps!!

Larry,
thanks for the info. The carb. The jets/rods. That are in it are considerably leaner (primary) causing the surging going down the highway. Question: Would you also have the venturi/booster spec's for this carb? Just want to make sure everything else is ok, also the factory cfm rating. Thanks for your time and info.....norm |
