I just got an e-mail entitled "IHRA Nitro Jam Wants Your Opinion". None of the links in the e-mail point to the web addresses indicated by the text, which is something phishing e-mails often do. I've got a note into Jeff Lee at IHRA to find out if the e-mail is legit...

I got one too, Mike. I will wait to do anything until you find something out from Jeff. Thanks for the heads up!

Alex just told me he did this survery yesterday. Questions seemed legit, asking about tickets prices, how often you attend events, etc.

I think it's okay... I got one of their regular newsletters later last night, and the links are set up the same way. Kneejerk reaction, I guess, based on the TONS of junk mail I get (like requests to update my bank account, through banks that I don't even know of)

Mike, Beth and group,
I received the same survey yesterday and filled it out. Normally it would end up in the trash file. The survey was more geared to the spectator than a racer. It asked a lot of questions regarding what you do in your spare time i.e bowling, dancing, movies etc and was very focused on your kids. It appears Feld wants to know what you do with your disposable income. Pure marketing strategy! Mike Ferstl SG SR 6091 Last edited by ChevyII; 08-05-2009 at 09:59 AM. |
