Congratulations! Two cars that dont have many similarities. Do you feel like youve been through the ringer? Great Effort!

Nice work Rick! What happened in the semi's vs me? That had to have been quite a rush running two cars because they were pushing us through fast enough that I was pretty short on time just running one car. Either way, well done.

Good job, Rick. Being "young" you pulled it off running 2 cars, us old dudes would have collapsed from exhaustion! lol

Thanks everyone.
That was quite possibly the most fun I've ever had at a race. It was also the most mentally challenging day as well. I have a new found respect for the traveling guys like to Biondo, Faul, Fletcher, etc. To do that day in and day out is borderline insane. I would like to thank everyone that helped out. Corky and Dave Mcgaugh, Dave's girlfriend Victoria, Tom Diekema, Dave and Jamey Picht, Chris Knudson, and all the others that volunteered their time and help if needed. Without the help of you guys I could have never survived. Brett, the crew chief made a bad decision on the clutch before our run. It started getting hot running back to back so I made an adjustment. Then when Edwards crashed in Supercomp it gave it time too cool off and then didn't need the adjustment. Wished I could have given you a better race. But Oh well. You guys earned it as well. Taking out Hagberg isn't an easy task either. Dean. Dad still has the hat. It's sitting on top of the tranny jack in the garage. As far as what's more fun to drive. It's hard for me to pick against anything with three pedals but, that Oldsmobile is killer. It pretty much tells you what to dial. All that's left is for the monkey to execute the plan. Again thanks to everyone. Hopefully next time we can string together another couple of rounds and make it worth the effort for everyone involved. Rick Ryan |
