@ napierville when they first held a div.1 race, i though john freil's front end was never going to come back to earth...set the record, torn it down, was ligit...loaded up and went home ! canadian's macallum & miller first into the eights & indy champion...john tedder @ sanair...oh man...beautiful cars . will be worth the price of addmission @ indy to watch that class run offs . gives me chills just thinking of it !!!

They actually looked like race cars back then, now they're a high tech missile with no personality but ya gotta love 'em.

The best drag racing article ever written was a round by round article written by Brett for a magazine, which I don't remember. He captured the feeling of the round by round fight by the most powerful Super Stock cars ever built!
