Default Idea for the changlings

How about when there is a class race NHRA turns off the ET clocks, Just use the starting beams and the finish line. No AFHS no reason to dump at 1000 foot.
And How about during eliminations take out the 1000 clocks leave them in for time shots only.

I like it, kinda like....errr street racing eh ?

Problem is then everyone want to know how fast did it run...blah blah.

But its got an allure for some cool potential....gritty...simple....win/no win

How much did he win by ? Oh he hammered him like 10 lenghts...its different....

I was thinking of a "poor mans" all out class say all mustangs....all claimer cars, for 5k. What you race for on the brackets are cars...heads up titles. NO not like Pinks crap. 5k 8.50 cage, 9 in rear (stock housing) 302 with max .060 bore, 9 inch tires, No turbos no supers no nitrous. ist of heads and blocks , heads must be uncut on runners and chamber. Anything else goes, gas only, good reasonable min weight. ...but your car in some events can be claimed for 5k...whole car....in others you are racing heads up for cars, in an elimination bracket...I may win 3 cars but loose my own...get it ? Kinda have to be a Gambler...but Id build one in a minute.....Mustangs not because I like them, but they are disposable, just like firebirds or camaro's and parts are plenty and cheap. 2500 for chassis tires and safety. The rest on driveline.....and know you can loose it...safe fun and crazy.

In the immortal words of "Ricky Bobby"

"If you aint first youre last"

It's called "Pinks All Out" and the crowds are huge. They have another segment called "floating tree" and the racer doesn't know what ET he's shooting for. Run to slow and you don't make the program.

You know what Art, you may actually be on to something. I think that it might be cool if they did that for class eliminations.
