Default Rumor from Indy

I heard this weekend that the final approval had been given to the new Camaro for stock. The word is that GM is going to make 50 special cars for stock and super stock. No word on motors or horsepower yet.

Rumor has it that a racer from the hills of Pennsylvania (Billy WHO) has swung a deal to have a 300 cubic inch inline six with a 900 cfm tb for V with a real chevy powerglide approved for it. BTW it's rated at 105 horsepower and the Tooth Ferry delivered it in the rain last night.

Maybe it is a ferry used to carry teeth across a river? That would make for a small ferry or very large teeth.

Did you hear anything about them letting the Race Hemi engines use EFI and two 1000cfm throttle bodies in Stock? I heard they discovered them in a warehouse and they were supposed to get installed by the dealers back in 1968, but the delivery guy delivered it to the wrong address. Ultra rare beryllium intake manifolds (magnesium was too heavy) and special D4b heads with round ports.

I heard somebody just - order from a local dealer - a new Camaro with a mostly glass front end

Comes with a super charged (aka blown) 245hp aluminum 305, a 1000cfm TB, .610 lift cam and 11.0 to 1 comp

Oh and a 10pt roll cage and "trick" suspension

Forgot to mention it comes with laptop, tuning program and Chevrolet Engineering hot line support.

Wheels and tires (credit) from the manufacture of your choice.

All for only $83,200

What a deal

All I asked the Tooth Fairy for were the "truck" carburetor and the
high altitude, commercial pistons! (yes they really do exist)

Geez.......Billy, if that's all your asking for............well, maybe you could find a wizard. You know, I've heard they have special powers. He'll give them to you........but......SHHHHH, don't tell uncle Bruce about it. I'm sure everything will be alright. You DO know a wizard, don't you!
