NHRA stock eliminator seats

I believe you have to use original equip seats for stock.

Is this true?

Also, are the original seats relieved of the basic requirement that says you have to attach the seat to the roll bar? Where does it say that?

Jinxy,no reflection on you but I wouldn't touch that question with a ten foot pole.There was a thread a while back that turned into WWF wrestling before the dust settled.Good luck.

Are stock elim rules a secret? What gives?

Yes you have to use OEM seats. No they do not have to be bolted to the roll bar. That's all the anwser your going to get without all the worm's spilling out of the can.

Thanks. I'm about to have a bar installed on a 1970 Dart with factory bench seat.

Currently you must use OEM seats. You do not need to afix them in any way to the roll bar. I ain't sayin no more. Jim
