Default Canadian TV Host Goes To Grand Bend

Rick Mercer is a very popular TV personality in Canada who hosts "The Mercer Report" each week. This segment just aired; in which he went to Grand Bend Motorplex to be introduced to drag racing. The ridealong in the A/SA '69 Camaro of Doug Box should give you a few laughs. Stuff like this is a great way to get the word out to the general public and hopefully get a few more butts in the bleachers or new racers in the lanes. Congrats to whoever it was in Grand Bend that came up with this idea!

I watched "The Mercer Report" this past Tuesday, he has done demolition derbies, and oval track racing segments before, the drag racing bit was nice to see. I liked Ricks comments about the snowmobiles. For anybody who gets the CBC television station, The Mercer Report airs again on Friday, 8.30 PM, West Coast time.
