They do at some, I don't know about all. They ran class at the ones here at Tulsa.

They had "class" at a few nationals this past season, but they awarded the win to the fastest qualifier instead of racing heads-up for it. It may have something to do with the new schedule to insure Sportsman get done before the rest of the show was scheduled to start in the late afternoon/early evening. No word yet on what is planned for 2011, particularly the Sportsnationals planned in Budds Creek, MD and Dinwiddie, VA.

when dad won class at the Gators in 08, we got a few hundred in contingency.

Yep, a trophy and some money. When I won class here at Tulsa all I got was a little fun. No problem.

I don't know about you guys, but I remember getting $500 bucks in '99 for my class win then. However, this year I'd have been lucky to get $100 for it...it's got to be for fun, and the hardware, because it's not really worth the struggle to earn it otherwise for me especially....

At San Antonio a few years ago I got a plaque and 50.00 from Mickey Thompson. There were other sponsors but I didn't run their products. Ed
