A friend fowarded this to me and its too neat not to share.
Thes are actual photos of damage to a house caused by a exploding 183 liter, V16 diesel locomotive engine! This one piston would make Sonny Leonard smile, each cylinder displaces 697 cubic inches! And we thought TF anf FC explosions were violent!

That's pretty interesting, considering an average 16 cylinder engine used in Diesel Locomotives only spin about 1500 RPM's max. Although there's a lot of reciprocating mass there.Wonder how far the house was from the unit that blew?
