Caltracs for 64 Dodge 440

Didn't see any listed for my car on their website. New to the stock rules...So are their springs "legal" to run? Trying to put one together as fast as we can.

Yes Caltracs are legal for stock eliminator. If you do not see what you
want on their website, just give them a call each time I have called the
people have been very helpful.

"Preciate the help. Got the engine and drivetrain ready: Repainting the car soon. Have been concentrating on getting the weight off in select areas. My first venture into a stock class car. Got one that runs balls to the walls...But it's getting old and too expensive. My latest understanding is the struts are legal in SS but not stock. The had a bad run of mounting bolts last year and I would replace the bolts and check for thread engagement.....disaster if the break trust me. Watch Heim geomentry so they pivot properly. They be other manufacturers of them but i only know of one. Car is easier to stage with them and more accurate to position. Caltracs are best money you can spend! All B bodies i believe have same spring segment lengths.

Thanks John. I know of a couple of companies that make the aluminum bars; Was just wondering if we could use them. It would help get some more weight off. I called Calvert and they are setting me up with the entire spring, CalTrac and shock set up for the car. Not too expensive for what you get. Decent pricing.

I`m sure that Mr. Borninamopar will be happy with the Calvert products, even though they are made in California by a : Ford racer!!
