Default Wheelie bars

I am putting a 68 Camaro together for stock and need some advice of wheelie bar type and styles. i have seen singles, doubles, doubles wide, double narrow, mounted high, mounted low. i know they are intended for a saftey more than anything else, but i also know some cars may well flip over without them! i have looked at a couple of chassis books and very little is spent discussing wheelie bar applications. Any help would be great.

John Calvert is making a state of the art Stock legal wheelie bar. You will probably want his Caltracs also.

Looked at Calvert's @ Bowling Green they are trick. I had looked @ videos on you tube and noticed had AJE bars(Anthony JonesEngineering) on it then another set in other video, then @ Bowling Green had his new style.I talked to him he said NHRA made him take AJE's off,his work's same way where they plant tires when they are on ground, just redesigned to be legal for stock.
I enjoyed meeting John Calvert super nice guy,Thunderbolt is neat car.

Mike, do you know where I could see his new bars? May be what I need.

Just went to his website and couldn't find them.

They were advertised in ND recently. They mount to rear w/spring loaded pivots they are triangle shaped w/roller or wheel @ highest point that contacts trunk floor they are mono wheel @ ground. When they contact ground top wheel contacts trunk floor and pushes rear end down,I'm sure you would have to reinforcment for the roller to push against or it would just bend the trunk floor.
If you watch video on you tube from A/S @ Indy you can see how smoothly John's car wheelies I think his bars have alot to do w/ that.
I'd say give John a call and he would or could get you a picture.
