Around 200 below.. you want the motor to be pulling going out the back door, not nosing over cause you ran it out of the power band..
Check your dyno sheet.. it will show you where your motor starts to lose power.. that's where you DON'T want to be on shift points or at the finish line.. |

Through my experience, my best ET's are when it is just noseing over. It does hurt speed however.
