Most Classes?

Don't know if anyone has ever asked this before. What year and make fits into the most possible classes? Example, How many different classes does a 68 Camaro fit into? I know it comes with auto and manual as well as BBC and sbc combos. Any ideas. Sure one of you know exactly.

I know the Dodge Aspen/Plymouth Volare' fits into many classes with the different 318 and 360 combos as well as 6 cyl.Also 2 door/4 door/wagons further in the F body cars make them more versatile.
Also the early Cuda and Challenger(70-71) could get anything from a 6 cylinder to a Hemi as I believe every engine in the lineup was available in the early E Body cars.

Don/t forget the late '60s Biscaynes, Bel-Airs and Impalas as they were also available with the 6 cylinder all the way to 427 combos,, the L-72 being a stick only combo I believe.
Don't recall seeing a L-78 setup in one, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

The 1969 big cars were available with the TH 400 for the L-72 427/425. We had a 1969 Impala SS Custom 396/375. Great car, nasty quick for a big car, and beautiful.

In all fairness, what we had may have been some sort of COPO car. Oddly enough, a doctor ordered it for his wife. She hated it, they took it back with maybe 30 miles on it. Dad got a really special deal on the car, as the dealer did not want it.

Wish we had kept it, but then again, my brother totaled the Lincoln that Dad traded it for. Way better to total the Lincoln than that super nice Impala SS.

May have been special order have seen many 427 cars over the years never saw 396/375 in a big car. Had 396/265 two barrel wagon at one time.

Dennis,
I owned a '66 Biscayne wagon with a 396 Turbo that I towed my Barracuda with back in the early '80's. Had plenty of juice for towing I'll tell ya! All original and had a Holley carb on it if my memory serves me correctly.
