Default New Super Stock Class

All the talk of new classes in Stock,I missed the fact that there will be a new Super Stock class.

AA - 5.50 to 5.9

Do any cars currently fit this class?

Jeff, as funny as that sounds, I know a present SS racer that did all the leg work for that combo. Was going to run in A and go after the hemi cars before they were segregated! Had a nos body located and a letter from Shelby himself.

As much as I wouldn't want to hear and see the uproar, I thought it was an ingenious idea…

Although Id love to see that combo in SS, but someone would be looney, to want to drive that car... It would be like a jack rabbit bouncing around the track...As young as I am, i wouldnt drive it..lol

Here's an article about the Gus Zuidema 427 Cobra that was raced in 1966.

Currently, there is an A class at 6.00 to 6.49.That would make an automatic at SS/AA

Now,there is going to be an AA class at 5.50-5.99.That would make an automatic a

SS/AAA I guess. But a stick in AA is also SS/AA? All these "A's" gets confusing!

The last National Dragster that I just read now says that the new Super Stock class is AAA.

This might help with the confusion. So I guess an automatic is SS/AAAA?
