Fixing (pluging) slicks?

I have a couple of slicks that have plugs in them that are now leaking (a little) .
I want to know if I can replug them? Put a patch on the inside? Or put a tube in them?

To be safe I would buy new ones no matter how quick or slow your car is. The cheap way out would be to patch or install a tube. Plugging again could just be asking for trouble possibly losing a race or even going flat in the staging lanes or starting line. That would be a bummer.

They stopped makking my tires for 4 years ago. So new is not an option If I could buy new I would not be asking questions.

Bummer for sure!! No one has anything to replace your tires that are no longer available?

Art and I use the same size tires we both h ave looked no body makes that size

Art, are the slicks your looking for M/T, if so what size,part # there is a wh. dist. here in Canada that may have some old stock. John gsa612

Called the w-house, about a year to late, they did a search they show stock at rocket ind. in Austrailia. there sales@rocketind.com You would think with all the tuners you could find a good used pair. John gsa612

I've decided to cut the plugs as close to the inside of the tire as I can. Put patches over them. Then put a tube in them.. That should get me through the weekend. As safely as possible. I don't run real low pressures (12 to 14 pounds)
If anyone has any other ideas. Let me know.

BTW still hoping my brand new 20 x 8 x 13 tires are supposed to be here on Wednesday.
So I might have them as well. I have a pair of steel 13 x 7" wheels to put them on.
