I have a couple of slicks that have plugs in them that are now leaking (a little) .
I want to know if I can replug them? Put a patch on the inside? Or put a tube in them?

To be safe I would buy new ones no matter how quick or slow your car is. The cheap way out would be to patch or install a tube. Plugging again could just be asking for trouble possibly losing a race or even going flat in the staging lanes or starting line. That would be a bummer.

I've decided to cut the plugs as close to the inside of the tire as I can. Put patches over them. Then put a tube in them.. That should get me through the weekend. As safely as possible. I don't run real low pressures (12 to 14 pounds)
If anyone has any other ideas. Let me know. Thanks Artie BTW still hoping my brand new 20 x 8 x 13 tires are supposed to be here on Wednesday. So I might have them as well. I have a pair of steel 13 x 7" wheels to put them on.
