I think permits are for commercial vehicles only.

I think SB1174 provides the exemption you need to travel to and from the race track.

Wherever you go, check the laws carefully if the trailer is over 10,000 GVW or if you race for money, purse or contingency. Many places you become commercial and have to have log books, cdl, etc.

SB1174 is for 56 ft Commercial trailers for motor sports. It would not apply to totors and motor homes.
