v6? lt1 FI 350 or do a crate motor stocker what other choices? or put it in GT and run pretty much anything? trying to get best bang for buck! not looking for record holder just a good fun combo that i can go make lots of runs in. this will be my entry into stock/SS thanks guys.

Lt 1 is great . If you keep the chassis stocker legal ie no 4 link no tubs you can run stock , SS or brackets . Lots of theese torque arm cars with 9 " slicks run well into the 9's. If you decide to run a V6 your going to spend more to go slower. ---Trevor

LT1 please---do yourself a favor.......I ran a carburetor class for years in a 96......I have back surgeries to prove it.....most ill engineered car to maintain GM ever produced for non EFI drag racing.......forget the tunnel ram stuff. Hope you are healthy enough to work on it.
