I know this has absolutely nothing to do with Stock and Super Stock, but I thought some may be interested. I believe Jerry took the fall for all the 90s ProStock "cheating" that was happening then. I don't think anyone believes that Eckman and Orndorff were the only ones doing it (besides the obvious: Wayne County "Break in"). I always liked Jerry and it's good to see him back on the track.

I was a huge fan of that team and I felt really ripped off when that whole thing went down and they "couldn't recover". I pretty much lost interest in Pro Stock at that point. I was really sorry to see what happened to Eckman. I'm sure it wasn't just those two teams who were using "enhancements" either. I'd LOVE to think that WJ was squeezing the bottle too !!! |

As I recall Bob Glidden was one of the FEW who wouldn't spray, and paid a performance price for his diligence.

If Warren Johnson had been playing with giggle gas, Alderman wouldn't have any championships.

Then who rose to the top when the Dodges disappeared? That's when Warren got all of his wins. I found it odd that Warren didn't go shooting his mouth off as usual when the Wayne County boys had the "break in". Still LOVE to think he ran the juice. He's really good at what he does, but I never had any respect for him or his attitude.
