"Live" from the 2013 Cobra Jet Owners School and Test-n-Tune

I will attempt to keep the classracer.com members informed on whats going on at the 2013 Cobra Jet Owners School and Test-n-Tune. Ford Racing invited all the 2013 Cobra Jet owners who took delivery of their cars a few weeks ago out to Milan Dragway to a new owners school lead by Roy Hill.

Roy Hill goes over the track layout and the features of the 2013 Cobra Jet in a classroom at Milan's tower suite.

That is MIke Skinner's black 2013 with the parachute installed. He and his son Kevin are new to class racing, so take it easy on them! haha

2013 Cobra Jet Owner Experience kicks-off in Milan, MI

Ford Racing, in conjunction with the Roy Hill Drag Racing School, hosted the first Cobra Jet Owner’s Experience at Milan Dragway on August 23rd. New for the 2013 model, the program provides new Cobra Jet owners access to instruction on the operation of their new Cobra Jet and the opportunity to obtain their competition license.

A total of thirteen 2013 Cobra Jet owners were in attendance for test/tune and instruction, many already competition license holders.
Five owners completed the necessary runs and sign-off for their Super Stock competition license under the instruction of Roy Hill and special guest instructor Robert Patrick, driver of the Purvis Ford NHRA Pro Mod Mustang.

A special thanks and congratulations to 2013 Cobra Jet owners, Ted Hughes, Mike Skinner, Matt Smytke, Jim Cooper, and Gardner Stone who all finalized their runs and competition license paperwork for submission to NHRA!

It was an exciting day. Thansk to all our Cobra Jet owners that make these events possible. We plan to comtinue to grow this program for every new model.

The Showdown starts today! Many of the big hitters are here. Should be fun! I'm sure between R-n-R and Ken Meile the updates will be steady.
