If the car is not tubbed and the frame is not altered (subframe connectors are okay), run Stock instead. There are very few of that generation Nova in Super Stock. The T-10 transmission will have to go. You'll be needing a Jerico.

If you go to the top of this page and click on the NHRA competition icon
---LHS of next page click on Stock car classification --- Scroll down to Chevrolet select year This will show you what's legal and horsepower ratings. 350 /295 horse is popular in SS and stock ---Trevor |

If car is'nt mini tubbed I would run stock, if is mini tubbed would consider lower class SS/GT maybe 283/220 or check see if 4.8 LS is in guide,I'm sure there are some guys on here that know some good combo's that are rated good.

If the car is nor tubbed then run the 327 is stock it would run G/S. I would consider this combo in SS also. As what was mentioned before I would run in the lower GT classes. It would be a fun car, enjoy.

Mike, the only 4.8L LS engine is a truck engine. All passenger car LS series engines are 5.7 or bigger.
