Default Padded Head Rest

Seeing I installed new aftermarket seats to gain some weight savings, I now have to install a padded head rest. (The seats I have are the low back Jazz ones). I'm planing on running a strap from the top bar to the cross over bar, but does it have to be welded in? Did not see anything in the rules that said it couldn't be bolted in, but I want to make sure before tapping into the bar. Any help on this is appreciated

Don, You wouldn't have to drill and tap ..Just use two muffler clamps through the strap.
I'm sure it would be okay as long as it's sturdy.

Thanks Mark..........I was also looking at a clamp that is used for holding Data Loggers to the roll bar, but because it was a clap, I didn't know if maybe pining it as well would eliminate any chance of it moving if it was hit....I'll give it a shot. As the rule works in married life, see if you can get away with it first, then ask for forgiveness if you get caught!!! LOL

Yes they are, though I didn't want to add them becuse I think we are just moving further away from Stock with each new change. The 67 Nova Hardtop combo has a crappy weight break and there are very few areas in them to address weight, so I went to the Dark Side!
