The Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL event scheduled for this weekend at Carolina Dragway has been rescheduled.

With a less than favorable forecast calling for rain, the IHRA and track management at Carolina Dragway have rescheduled the event to August 16-18 and will be run in conjunction with Thunder Jam and the track’s Ironman Classic competition originally scheduled for that date. The format and class structure for the weekend will be the same as the original date.

The rescheduled Carolina Pro-Am will also be broadcast live on Motor Mania TV making it only the second-ever IHRA Summit Pro-Am event to be produced for live viewing.

Sorry they re-scheduled so early in the week. But better to call and save racers money if it did rain.. But our weatherman in Columbia is now talking bout another system, not the hurricane. Looking forward to August and maybe Bristol next weekend. Pictures will be posted if I go..
