A while back there was a article in a magizine about the SW anti roll bar for the back of 3rd and 4th gen camaros and firebirds. It was being installed on a stock eliminator car. That started a discussion here about was it legal or not when installed as S&W intended it to be installed. My question is this. Is it still Illegal to weld it in or is NHRA now allowing it? I cant find the thread for some reason to see what happend as the conversation went on.
Can Heim joints be used in swaybar/anti roll bar end links instead of the tradional bolt and bushing setup if I decide to go that way instead of with the S&W setup? Thanks Rob |

I've always been under the impression that if it can't be bolted in then it isn't legal.

No welding is my understanding as well.
Spohn Performance has a BOLT-in that works very well. Tim |

As I recall in that original thread, a number of NHRA's divisional tech directors expressed that they would not pass that set up. Now that said, the o.e. bar can be used effectively.

Are the HRpartsNstuff rear bolt on sway bars legal in Stock E? Also, is it correct that GM A-Body aftermarket rear control arms are legal if the bottom bar is NON-Adjustable where the top control arm can be adjustable? Paul from HRparts has mentioned that they were NHRA Stock E legal as long as they bolt in only. No welding. Anyone using one?
See link below for an example http://www.hrpartsandstuff.com/
