Default Don Elgin, Bill Edgeworth and more

How about some congrats for the late round players in Stock and Super Stock??? Bill Edgeworth and Pete Oliviero in the semis of stock. Cody Lane and Joe Sorensen semis of super stock. All of these names are players here in division 6. I have known Jody (and Toby) for over 20 years. I have known Don Elgin since 1970 I believe. Cody is the son of Jeff Lane a many time event winner. Pete Oliviero is a bracket racer from Bremerton Raceway who has done very well for himself. Joe Sorensen is a well known racer from Oregon and Bill Edgeworth is a multi class former national record holder. Always good to these guys in the semis or finals of any race they enter.

Absolutely, they did great. I gotta admit that with almost .05 advantage on the tree in the Stock final, I was suprised that the Worm lost that one. Dons fleet of Pontiacs have been turning on win lights at Seattle for many, many years. And you can tell by the S/S final, that Fletcher and Jody were both going for the throat. Certainly a great effort for the local racers.

You guys are right,,, the local racers did well this weekend. I thought "Worm" had it too, but the car fell off. It was cool watching Dan pull off the double, though.
Rory, It was good to see you again, if only for a second,,, Ron,, I looked for you, but
our paths didn't cross. See you at Bremerton in 2 weeks,,, by the way check out
the Best Appearing Crew photo. See ya.

Hey Danny - are you haming it up a bit?? Good job on Best Appearing crew. You didn't see me because I wasn't there. I prefer divisional or local events. I know I should see the big circus, but that's just me. I will be at Pacific for the stock super / stock combo this Friday - if you can come take a look. I probably won't be at Bremerton until the Nostalgia Drags on the 24th and 25th. I am finishing up on the Hotwheel scale drag strip for that event. It's kind of been a secret with only a few people helping with input/design (6 people or so).

Hamming it up a bit?? No,, what you don't see is Mike Brown reaching around his wife and trying to graba$$ my right cheek! As we were smiling, I'm saying to him "Really? You're going to be THAT guy?" He laughed it off after we were done.
By the way,, I understand about not going to the "Big Circus",, but you should never blow off Fridays,, they're usually the best day to go,,,, try it next year,, we had extra tickets!

Rory your right he would have been Wormenized if it were not for the valve hanging out of the head and being hit by the piston.May be next time the car will make it all the way to the other end.
