Hey Kevin ( I mean Dave Young posting as Kevin Hillman) Good post from Jok Nicholson. ( I don't necessarily agree with all of it, but at least Jok used his real name when he posted his opinion. I think it carrys more weight what that is done. Come on, you can do it. LOL Jim Schaechter 3163

My dad has a great idea. Since the class money is next to nothing anymore, why don't we get contingency money for the top 32 qualifiers in Stock and Super Stock? Get more manufacturers paying, and they would actually pay out less and not have to pay out for class singles!

Removing wheelie bars from many of todays stockers is not a good idea. A racer can easily do a lot of damgae to his car from having to lift during a big wheelstand. What sense does that make when many many cars are capable of going up very high.

"look no further than SS/AH" Correct but for the wrong reason. They are popular because they run Heads up no break out first man there wins. Class racing IS ENJOYABLE for everyone. Dont have to be a 30 yr racer, wife of same or kids of family to understand HE WON HE GOT THERE FIRST.
On the other hand ...You got it.NO ONE CARES but the racer himself.
Foot brake only. no buttons, no boxes no magnetic clutchs KEEP it SIMPLE and it will be FAIR.

From someone who is beginning to get into Stk, it would be nice to race by the foot brake. With no electronics, it would put driver/car against driver/car. Plus I would not have to worry about all the extra electronics to buy,. Put that money to use somewhere else such as expenses/travel/entry. But what do I know, I am not out there yet. [:-unhappy-:]

I'm opposed to the one driver-one class rule, for the reason that it would increase the cost to me of operating my car. I get a great driver (Lee Zane) who usually goes to a race with another car. And I'm not the only guy who is in this position.

My two cents (I own a comp car-I can't afford more than that.

Dumb..."take stock back to stock"but lts get rid of heads-ups during eliminations...his class vs eliminations theory is crazy..."get rid of wheelie bars" then he wants to move the stockers that need wheelie bars and find a place for them in ss...and I dont see why there is such a big problem with ss/mod cars, high rpm, whels stands and 165 mph, wheres the problem? And limit racers on car ammount and rig size (indirectly)...the rig does not make the racer, we cant all afford big rigs but half of the guys with the BIGGEST rigs just have fun and party (ducks)...I wont even get started on the button issue, but from what I can tell and find (my research skills suck) hes a button pusher too!
