I find it interesting how so many racers complain about how NHRA charges too much for racing, whether that is entry fees, or insurance, or the cost of crew passes. Tell me why any racer that is going to race in Belle Rose for the Sportsnationals, doesn't pre-enter and save $25. Here are the car counts as of today:

Why, why, Maybe because it has poured down rain for a solid week and the upcoming weather forecast doesn't look so promising. Here is one good reason for you.

For $25.00 I will watch the weather. I paid the pre-entry for Houston, then the weather told me to lose it and stay home. Takes almost $1200.00 worth of diesel for me, down there and back. If I go, I will wait to watch the weather and pay the difference at the gate it the weather holds.
