I'm changing over my 89 Mustang from a 5 speed to C4 . I have a problem with the rear trany mount, It's a little to short to meet the cross member. Do I need a auto trans rear mount ? Help

same cross member I think. to make it fit cut the welds on the mount sleeves so it slides and elongate the bolt holes. once you bolt it up just tack weld the sleeves.

Or Ford Racing part# M-5059-A is an adjustable one. Will solve your problem. Check driveshaft length you might be short- Steeda makes a very nice billet spacer that works great.

Thank you Bob, that worked like a charm. And Glen I thank you for your input allso , I was tipped off about the spacer and was ready.
Now I just need to get the shifter instulled and cluch cable and speed-o cable out, some wireing and we can get it to the track. You can allways count on Class Racer people Thanks Slickfoot 3955 |
