Where do you guys get the torque wrench that measure down to 5 inch pounds to set pinion pre load.I have been looking online and have not found one will go that low.

I will look and check for sure when I get back to the shop. But I think mine is a KD 2955. Its 1/4 inch drive. So I welded a old 1/4 socket to a socket I use when checking preload. That way I don't have to use several adapters to get there. I dont remember where I got mine as I have had it for 15-20 years but they are available online through many places. Hope this helps Rob |

Get a dial type or a beam type rather than a clicker. You can't get it right with a clicker.

Ok thanks I was looking for the clicker type,So the dail or beam types or better for checking pinion preload.
