Thumbs up Re: Good place to stay for the WinterNationals

We stayed at the Best Western in Rowland Heights, clean , reasonable and about 1/2 an hour to the fairgrounds. Nothing like Pamona in February, especially when you live in the North

We used to go to the winter nationals almost every year. I liked to stay at the San Dimas motel 6. Must be the hot ticket Cuz All Hoffman stayed there one year too!

There are lots of hotels along the 10 freeway within about 10 miles of the track,if you fly into the Ontario airport and rent a car there are plenty around the airport and a couple of big malls and one of the biggest Bass pro shops in the states.Just depends on how much you want to pay.

Look at North Pomona, right near the 210 Foothills Freeway. Close to the track through side streets. There were different places to stay close by in 2007. Let me find an intersection to zero in on.

We stayed on Foothills Blvd at what was a Rodeway Inn at one time. Right at $75 a night. I see the Best Western in San Dimas is $132 a night now, that's close to the track.
