There are two complete 1978 305/145/180 engines for sale in the Montreal area someone should pick up and build a slow stocker. You run these in just about every thing GM made in 1978.

Maybe.. The 283 I'm working on looks more like a "quarter rocket",

Ive located a block, have quote on trans and pistons for the 1988 Olds wagon in 307 form. Found 12 bolt housing. Still a long ways away but Im trying.

Ed, do you mean '66 or '67? 290 was not available in 65.

Not a Dime Rocket, but I am going to convert my red Formula over to run NMCA Chevrolet Performance Stock. This is the cheapest project I have had in a long while! I am thinking about doing a build thread if anyone wants to see it.

No pictures yet as I have not started work, but have been getting pieces together. So far
-88 Olds wagon 550.00
-complete 1973 Olds 88 with 350 and 350 trans for 350.00 pulling motor and trans and scraping car should bring around 175.00 return.
-73 Buick 12 bolt housing with 3 series posi for 200.00 sold posi for 75.00
-complete Mark Williams new in the box rear end kit. 35 spline axles with studs, steel spool, Timken bearings, c-clip eliminators, 4.56 street gear, assorted spacers and washers all for 600.00 sold 4.56 gear for 175.00
to date 1325.00 spent
