THIS IS A CONVERSATION THAT IS AS OLD AS FORD vs CHEVY BUT I HAD TO PASS ON THE WAY I WAS RECIEVED BY AMALIE ( CHARLIE NEILSON) WHEN I JOINED THERE CONTINGENCY PROGRAM. THIS IS NOT TO SAY THAT I HAVE BEEN MISTREATED BY ANY OF THE COMPANY'S THAT OFFER SUPPORT TO WE THE RACER'S IN THE FORM OF CONTINGENCY BUT I JUST WANTED TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH YOU PEOPLE. DURING THE SEASON I RECIEVED A POST CARD FROM AMALIE INVITING ME TO SIGN UP FOR THE PROGRAM BUT I WAS NOT RUSHING TO DO SO BECAUSE I SPENT ALL SUMMER TRYING TO GET MY SON'S NEW TO HIM STOCKER READY TO RACE ALONG WITH THE TRAILER AND TOTER AS MY PAST EXPERIENCE IS I LIKE TO BE THE GUY LENDING OUT A TOOL OR PART RATHER THAN TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING AT THE TRACK. SO I DID SIGN UP AND YESTERDAY OUT OF THE CLEAR BLUE I GET A PACKAGE IN THE MAIL FROM AMALIE. IN THE PACKAGE WERE AS FOLLOWS: 1) AMALIE ID HARD CARD - 2) CONTINGENCY GUIDLINES TO ENSURE PROPER PAYOUTS - 3)CONTINGENCY DECALS - 4) AMALIE RACING HAT - 5) AMALIE T-SHIRT - 6) AMALIE PRODUCT CATALOG 7) MOST OF ALL A NICE LETTER FROM CHARLIE TO WELCOME US TO THE PROGRAM
THIS IS JUST MY $.02 AND THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE TO PASS IT ON TO EVERYONE HERE CONTINGENCY WEB PAGE www.amalie.com/contingency Bob Albert |

I agree. I signed up with them also and received the same package, a very nice gesture IMO. Any correspondence was always addressed promptly, and I also received a nice call from Charlie after clinching the division. It sounds as though they are very pleased with the support from racers, and that the program will continue and possibly even grow.

I agree. Charlie was also out walking the pits talking to sportsman racers at Charlotte looking for feedback and suggestions.

Have any of you guys looked at the prices of the oil that they want you to purchase to complete the Contingency requirements? I found them to be extremely expensive . Unless I'm missing something it's even priced higher than Gibbs and I thought that stuff was expensive.

When I bought in, it was a requirement to buy two cases of any product. I got synthetic gear lube and some saw 30 wt for generators, etc. it wasn't that much. Maybe 80 bucks total. They did pay contingency for me right away.
