You are asking for a sign of intelligence and fairness from the same people who think that electrons flow from the cathode to the anode. Putting the cut off switch on the + side is even dumber than costing racers money and effort that is not needed. If you go 11.50 you can use ratty 50 year old stock belts, but at 11.49 you need to spend the money every 2 years.

I have a street car that may go "too quick" next time I try it. It's just a toy that I very rarely take to the track.
I don't mind adding a roll bar (too much), but that seat belt hassle is something I don't want.
I certainly don't mind the added safety of a harness, but it ain't gonna be bad in 2 years.

I like to agree but.... My car is stored in a garage, a slow 10.20s bracket and S/ST car ... After two seasons they need replacing , I race 3 times a month almost year round, that's what my wife tells me. I guess I'm just hard on equipment......
