Question Re: MP's Final Round Dial at "the Bend"??

The 11.38 dial had to be a misprint. Myron didnt become the world champ by not paying attention to the details. If he dialed an 83 and they put a 38 in the computer and he didnt notice, I'd be surprised. Great light by Rick. Is this the Rick Beahr that won the summit super series?

He missed it, unfortunately. That would've been a h*ll of a race.

Yup, that's the '05 Summit World Champion, Ricky Baehr... who is 28-2 in the SWC again this year! One bad dude, and a really nice guy to boot.

I like the dial-in boards as you do the burn-out, because I will look at it then. I also like having my husband on the starting line to check for water, oil, and correct dial-ins. Once the burn out is over, I'm focused on the staging process and getting a good light. Congrats on the Runner up Myron, sorry you lost this way.

Myron Myron-a-vich!!!!! The man!!!!! Are you coming to Martin? Hope so!

I ran this weekend at the Indy points race - only my second race - and one of the "must do's" that Alex went over with me before first round (which I won thank you very much! )was to pay attention to the dial in board at the beginning of the burnout box because there are still humans running the machines and mistakes happen. I couldn't believe the next day we were reading about your foible in Ontario with this very thing. We are so sorry to hear about this and can pretty surely guarantee it will never happen to you again. Nor will it ever happen to me as I have learned from Alex and had it hammered home by your experience.

Please know this totally takes NOTHING away from the fact that you made it to yet another final round. CONGRATULATIONS from Moneymaker Racing!!!! Hope to see your smiling face in a few weeks!

Myron, its a bummer about the whole dial in thing...I do understand your frustration!! I was hoping to get a chance to mix it up with you on both ends!! However, the Mustang was pretty stuck the entire day....incrementals show im on w/.009 or in by .010, so there wasn't really much room to get in...

It was nice meeting you and I hope to meet up with you again for a re-match!! Maybe Martin???
