55 - 56 Chevy Hoods interchangeble?

Was told they fit both cars correctly. Any confirmation?

Dick, Reggie is correct. The 55 has a straighter lip on the front chrome trim. Whereas the 56 has more of a peak at the front chrome trim. Hope this helps.
