Dan, I've used pre made kits from S&W and had good luck. Make sure the bar is installed as per the rule book.

Both of my Stockers have S&W kits. Very pleased with their quality and customer service. One thing I did find out after installing the kit in my 2009 Stocker : If I had special ordered a "relaxed fit" main hoop cross bar with a 2-3 inch set back ( instead of the normal straight piece) then my seats could have reclined further back. I did not know this until after I installed the kit. Being a novice at roll bar installations, I can now see why chassis shops charge so much. To fit things right it takes a lot of time

Would like a Roll Bar setup where you can get out of the Seat easily without being Gumby ! Also be able to sit in the back seat. Thanks Dan Last edited by Dan Fahey; 03-13-2018 at 02:31 PM. |

Most kits on the market are .134" tubing to make sure it meets the min. of .118". A quality shop will use .120" or .125" and check the thickness to make sure it will pass. They may have to buy DOM tube, more money, better product.
