Default Gary Moore passed

It breaks my heart that Gary Moore passed away Sunday from an aneurysm suffered on Saturday. For all that knew Gary we are certainly blessed with his friendship and companionship.

He was by far the nicest and kindest man I have ever known. A long time Pontiac and SS/AH Cuda racer. He was a dear friend to all. Please keep Ann, Elaine, and the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Details on services will be posted later in the day.

Very sad news Kyle, Gary was a true sportsman racer in every sense of the word as well as being quick with a smile and a kind word, he will surely be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Rip my friend Kris, Dale

Everybody that knew Gary realized what a fine person he was. Even after he “went over to the Dark Side”, racing a MOPAR.

Very sad to hear the news. Gary was certainly a true southern gentleman. Always presented himself neat, well-spoken, and kind to everyone he met. He loved those Hemi cars and what they represented. Prayers to the family for their sudden and untimely loss.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gary for the first time at the Dallas National event in October and as everyone has noted he was a sincere Gentleman!
I am very sorry to here of his passing and can only say I hope I can continue my racing career as he had.

Out teams sincere sympathy goes out to his Family and Friends!

I have never posted photos on this site so I hope this works. I have some of the original Motorwheel documents showing him to be a member of the Motorwheel Team back then as was my close Friend who passed away, Rich Feldman. Many of you will note other members still racing today on the photo and many we have lost.

Hoping that the pictures post, this is in memory of Gary the short time I met him

The services will be this Saturday at 2:00 pm.

First United Methodist Church
119 N Briscoe Ave.
Tulia, TX 79088

If you are able to attend in lieu of flowers the family asks if you can bring a stuffed bear or something they can give to a local children's hospital or maybe a spare Wally (I added that last part).

If you are not able to attend and would like to do something, the family asks that you donate to the children's hospital of your choice and hold your next Wally really high so Gary can share in your joy.
