Atco Dragway - Race # 5 & 6 of the Mid Atlantic .90 Series

Head on down to Atco Dragway for Race # 5 & 6 of the 2020 season.

Due to the COVID-19 Outbreak the weekend will be filled with nothing but, NHRA Sportsman Racing. The Mid Atlantic .90 Association and Dave Ley's East Coast Stock / SS Series will be the only two series running that weekend at the track.

Gates open at 5pm Friday night for a track operated Test & Tune $35 Test ‘n’ Tune, $10 Spectators & $1 Kids Ages 5-10! Racing from 5:30pm until about 11pm!

On Saturday, Gates swing open at 8am for Race # 5 of the Mid Atlantic .90 Series and Race # 1 of the East Coast Stk / SS series. Racing should be kicking off around 9:30am with 2 qualifiers and then eliminations for all classes

On Sunday, Gates swing open at 8am for Race # 6 of the Mid Atlantic .90 Series and Race # 2 of the East Coast Stk / SS series along with Motorcycle Points Race # 3. Racing should be kicking off around 9:30am with 2 qualifiers and then eliminations for all classes till completion.

Gate: $30.00
.90 Series: $100.00
Membership: $80.00
Calcutta: $ 10.00

Entry Fees (Sunday):
Gate: $30.00
.90 Series: $80.00
Membership: $80.00
Calcutta: $ 10.00

Also the track is requiring that a COVID-19 form please be filled out & signed when you get to the gate. If not filled out you will have to do it when entering for the weekend.

Just want to clarify something:

#1 - Yes the Lucas Race at Atco has been cancelled

#2 - THIS WILL NOT EFFECT THIS RACE NEXT WEEKEND - WE WILL BE RACING THIS EVENT!!

As we know this series survives off you the Racers. This is a racers based series run by a racer. Unfortunate there are things beyond my control and pay grade that happen in life. We know this event is always a great count for us because the Lucas Race is the next weekend and you can leave your stuff there. So, if you were planning on coming to this event before the Lucas Race was cancelled I still hope to still see you there even with a LODRS being cancelled now. We put a lot of effort & energy into this series to make it the best that it can be for you the racers and yes 2020 has treated us like the red-headed stepchild but, I hope when you look at the big picture you realize that I’m a racer just like you, I want to race and put on events for you all to enjoy and have FUN at. I hope to see you all there!!

We have decided that since the Lucas Race was cancelled the following weekend, we'd up the incentive a little for the racers this Saturday, so this Saturday and Saturday's only race (Sunday will stay the same entry) we're going to up the entry to $100 to the series and $30 at the gate. Normally, some series would up the entry but, not the payout but, not here:

As you know we did this last year at Numidia for the North vs. South Shootout, this would be for SATURDAY ONLY, Sunday we’d go back to our normal $80 / $30 entry so (membership would be taken out if your not a member and make the finals).

20 Cars: $1,000 win / $500 ru
32 cars: $1,500 win / $650 ru
40 cars: $2,000 win / $700 ru
50 cars: $2,500 win / $900 ru

Also Ken Moses is throwing up an additional $100 Cash to the winner of each class if you use Ken Moses Race Transmissions and have the sticker on the car and if you don't you get a $100.00 Gift Certificate towards service.

On Sunday, I'll throw an additional $100 to the winner and $50 to the runner-up of each class.

Any idea how late the test and tune runs on Friday? I need to make a couple test hits on the car before I enter it in anything.
