Default 289 Ford SS carbs

Looking at the different combos, has anyone tested the 1.08 vs 1.12 Autolite carbs performance difference? On the '64 iron head combos, 203HP rating for the small carb, 220 for the large carb in GT. Seems like the small carb would be the better option?

Tony Denysenko may have some information based on testing that Alex (RIP) did.

Wow, if that's all, the small carb at 203HP is definitely the better combo?

I believe that the 1.12 was referred as the Mercury carb.
