Default Radio for the trailer

Any recommendations for an am/fm radio that will work in the car trailer?
We get a lot of interference with the portable "cheap kind" of radio when we're at the track.
Thanks, Larry

Make one from an AM/FM car radio, speakers, antenna and 12volt converter......you will love it and takes care of all the problems.

I don't know about Larry and while the car radio sounds like a good solution I am not interested in rounding that stuff up.

The radio in my trailer is not very good and I too would like to replace it.

Anybody got any good recommendations?

Thanks!
Bill

Anything from C.Crain. I have the Skywave, but I broke the speaker. Still works, though.

I'm looking for a scanner type radio to listen 1-way to the tower. Any suggestions beyond Race Electronics?

check out the offerings from this company on Ebay.
Pretty reasonably priced comes with a antenna and its made in the USA !

I have one on my golf cart and it grabs the the track stations with no problem ,and its self contained . plus it's Bluetooth and has a USB port
I plan on putting one in my trailer as well since my current one sucks at most tracks.

I like Tom’s idea but here is an option. I bought a unit for a boat. It fits in a hole about the size of a cup holder. It’s round and I mounted it in a cabinet door. Takes up very little space. Been working great for years
